With Moor Move, you can experience the Grünberg on Lake Traunsee in a mindful and relaxed way. This guided tour combines the history of the Ice Age cirque and the Laudach Moor with gentle exercise in the great outdoors. Against a backdrop of mountain panoramas, moorland and Lake Laudach, it offers a holistic experience for body and mind.
Your route leads from the Grünberg mountain station towards Lake Laudach. There, the Laudach Moor stretches out – a unique ecosystem featuring lowland moorland in the north and raised bog in the south, framed by the Traunstein and the mountain world of the Salzkammergut.
You’ll learn how ice and water have shaped the landscape, why moors are both water and land, and which rare animals and plants live here.
In the heart of this landscape, you’ll discover WYDA – the Celts’ nature-based movement philosophy. Simple exercises make it easy to get started:
gentle, mindful movements in the fresh air
short breathing and concentration exercises
moments of tranquillity amidst the forest and moorland
Moor Move is therefore the perfect complement to the Body, Mind & Mountains programme at Grünberg.
